ANH AHM.....JOHR DUN!

I visited a scenic hotel recently and got to experience THIS!! a completely empty, dark, indoor swimming pool. The hotel was empty as hell since they’re in their slow season, so most of the place was liminal just like this. I went swimming in the dark and with only the sounds of the water and my own breathing, it creeped me the hell out. Literally just what I’ve always wanted.

This was a super special experience for me too, since i’m kenochoric, and my kenochoric genders relate a lot to liminal + fear-inducing places with water (like pools, or the deep sea.) it also heavily relates back to my nonhuman experience, since I thrive in creepy spaces, regardless of what shift i’m in.

AND!! I got to swim around shirtless for the first time ever after getting top surgery!! :DDD

Here’s another liminal picture of the game room next door! unsettling as hell in person, I LOVED it. I should have taken a picture of the hallway outside too, it was long and reminded me of the basement of a church or something.
