I personally headcanon Murphy Law as an atheist, not "God is not real" kind, but "No deity could fix me. Even if there is one, I'm not going to kneel for salvation" kind. He had seen deities of all kinds.

(This is one of the reasons I dislike 8643, Murphy calling Barbara "Goddess" is too much of a NO for me. Even if seeing this in a cheesy romance perspective, it still feels wrong.)

2. I believe Murphy is someone who'd hate forced belief ("worship means heaven, don't worship means hell"), and he'd mock deities who do this. However, Murphy would accept some of the things deities done. For example, if he sees a deity trying to cure ill kids, he'd be willing to help even if he couldn't feel a thing from the good deeds.

In 3143, Murphy Law counters Thaum's deconstruction by deconstructing the concept of the foundation and the interview itself. It's pretty cool, and it makes me wonder if Law could be vicious-tongued.

I personally headcanon him as a relatively not-vicious-tongued person. He seldom hurts other people's feelings with his words. If he is extremely angry (but doesn't want to kill whoever crossed his line yet), he'd point at the door and roars something like "GET OUT".

I believe he does have very morbid side, but the vilest words are mostly for himself and for whoever truly disgusted him. Like, I could imagine him being half-drunk, making very ugly comments on himself and laughing while others staring at him, very concerned.

In the Broken Masquerade timeline (where the Foundation's secrecy veil lifted and the public know anomalies exist), what do you think Murphy would do in this timeline, does he remain the same or he changes something, and if he is 1 of the known SCPs to public, how would they see him?

Personally, I believe Murphy won't be changed dramatically. His fate is separated from the foundation's fate. He'd still be there even if the foundation perishes or be known to the public. Murphy's supernatural nature would let him remain forgotten by majority. In his canon story, very few people actually remembers him due to anomalous influence.

I remember that in Murphy Law's hub, Fred said something about how Murphy is "not our canon". So, I personally believe this means not even Fred sees Murphy as an actual part of foundation.
