face reveal???? more likely than u think

my art professor gave us an actual assignment and this is what i did instead. i am truly a visionary

First off, it is hell. Actual. Living. Hell. God help you if you aren't a boy because yo are going to be so vastly outnumbered that to have to walk halfway across camp to even see another person that isn't a dude. Lemme tell you, Do not ever work dining hall. Don't do it. You are up at least two hours before everybody else (this means six, nobody else gets up until 8:30) and you're I there with an absolute maximum of four hours of break (which let me just say rn you will sleep through) and you're working in there (a big building with no air-conditioning and limited air flow) until anytime between 8 and 11 pm. Not to mention to get paid what works out to be about $2 and hour Camp is hell. Dining hall is the house of satan himself. Second, the god of drama dwells almost exclusively in Boy Scout camps. You Literally cannot go a day without some YPT (Youth Protection) dilemma or somebody causing shit to fall on another person. There was the time the entire Waterfront staff went out underage drinking (bringing a fifteen year old first time staffer with them) and they almost all got fired, several people were fired for overly streched out YPT chargers, bathroom dilllemas, and airport fiasco, one person trying to cause persistent drama between me and the Dining hall staff (fuck you, sniffles) to name just a few. Camp is a drama pit from hell. Third: what the hell is sleep? Unless you are a boring moron and actually go to bed at the camp curfew of 11 there's about a 90% chance you're going to be up until 2 AM every single night. Every. Single. One. I can tell you from experience if your getting four hours of sleep every night and then working 8-12 hour physical labor work days with two short naps this is going to seriously whack up your sleep schedule when you finally come back. I was involuntarily falling asleep at 10:00 every night only to wake up at 4 and not be able to go back to sleep. It messes with your head. You end up with the sleep schedule from hell. Now, with all that said Camp is an amazing experience and I loved every second. Nowhere else have I reached the level of Independence I felt when I worked camp staff. The freedom to do anything you want, the freinds you make, and the memories you create at camp are worth every bit of hell it throws at you. So yeah, it's the job from the Black Lagoon but it's honestly one of my favorite places on Earth to be and work. Never again will I work Dining hall but I see myself working other areas and teaching scouts new things for years and years to come.
