Dunkeld Cathedral in its present form dates back to 1318. The dove motif of St Columba can be spotted in the East Window. The Cathedral being a safe haven of relics from Iona, from raiding vikings. Partially destroyed and rebuilt during the Reformation and by the Jacobites after the victory at Killiecrankie. It also offers one of the best viewpoints for Thomas Telford’s superb bridge over the Tay built 1809. . . . . #dunkeld #dunkeldcathedral #reformation #cathedral #perthshire #scottishtours #fonabcastle #albagamefishing (at Dunkeld Cathedral) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2R9t4SB5Ik/?igshid=it0ft2c5lf2g
