If You Could See Me Now: //I THINK THIS IS RELEVANt
(Oh my goodness gracious)
If You Could See Me Now: Your muse is dealing with the death of an influential person in their life, questioning whether that person would approve of what they’re doing, and my muse is trying to reassure them that they would approve.
Sophia kept tossing and turning, unable to sleep because something just didn’t feel right. She opened her eyes, seeing that the space next to her which usually occupied by her fianceĂ© was now completely empty. She propped herself up on her elbows, trying to think of where he could be. Worry began to set in as she realized she could not feel his energy in the house. They were getting married in just a couple of hours, so seeing Scott not in bed right now was definitely not a good idea.Â
She pulled on clothes and headed out the door in search of him. It didn’t take her long to find his energy, and she wasn’t at all surprised by where he was. She should have known he would be here.
She softly stepped over to him, leaving enough space between them as to not scare him. “I should have known you’d be here.” she said softly, her eyes looking over what was in front of him.Â
"Here lies Allison Argent. A wonderful daughter, friend, and hero."
"What if this wasn’t the life she wanted for me." he said softly, unable to move. He had been sitting in front her grave for longer than he could remember, but something was keeping him there.
She walked over, taking up the space next to him. She took one of his hand, covering it with her own. “What do you mean, Scott?” she asked.Â
"Would she want me doing this? Getting married? She was my first love, my everything. How do you think she feels seeing me with someone else?" he rambled all in one breath. The words broke her heart. She knew how much Allison meant to him, and she only wished she could get her here to talk to Scott.Â
"She would have wanted you to be happy, Scott. That’s all she wants for you is be happy." she said softly. He pushed away her hands, trying to get away from her. "How would you know what she wants?" he asked, the anger bubbling inside of him. "Because she wasn’t just your friend, Scott. She was mine too." she replied, taking a deep breath. "And I know that all she ever wanted was for you to be happy, and to find someone that made you as happy as you were when you were with her. I can guarantee she’s up there right now screaming the words that I’m saying to you right now."Â
Scott looked up, mentally asking her if what she was saying was right. Deep down, he knew that Sophia was right, but he was reliving all the emotions he felt when he lost Allison, and all he could think about was her.
"Let’s go home, okay? We can talk more about this all you want, but if we stay out here any longer, Megan and Stiles might kill us." she said, letting out a small laugh. Scott scratched behind his neck, looking at her grave once more before looking at Sophia. "Okay." he replied softly.Â
She took his hand, lacing their fingers together and began to lead them home.
