Andy just finished building his own #SeebeckEffect electricity generator based on the #thermalexchange We saw at the @mitmedialab #nanoexpo during the #CambSciFest and in the @nasajpl booth at the #SciFest at @usasciencefest The cut plastic bottle contains cold water and ice and the cup is full of boiled water (the only way to get it to work). There is a thermoelectric plate between the aluminum plates and it generates a faint 0.1-0.2 volts.
