i'm friends with a system that has dissociative identity disorder and i was wondering if there's something i can give them that could help them get through school? like a charm or something but i don't really do magick yet :((( school is especially difficult for them and exams will be coming up and i wish i could help :((((((
I'll be honest, I don't know a whole lot about DID/OSD systems, or the particular challenges one might face in school, but I can offer you a charm that I made for a friend about 6-7 years ago for when he was facing his final exams and projects for college. My friend raved about this charm and carried it for years until the sachet I had made literally fell apart, the fabric was so worn from use. A Charm for Studying:
Rosemary and Caraway - for memory
Peppermint and Spearmint - for mental sharpness
A Marble Worry Stone - Sympathetic link to the target's mind.
Taglock for the intended target
Fabric and thread to make a sachet, or a small drawstring bag. 1) Assemble all ingredients together into sachet or bag. 2) Rub the worry stone while studying, crushing the herbs and releasing their scent in the process. 3) Bring the charm to tests or project presentations, and repeat step #2. This charm plays with the symbolic concept of "etched in marble" as it relates to memories being etched clearly onto the brain and with the psychological concept of sense related recall. Each component has a magical and mundane purpose. The herbs all have magical associations with memory or mental alacrity in my personal correspondence system, you can swap them out for any other strong smelling herb that has the associations you want in your own correspondence system. The marble worry stone could be swapped for any other worry stone, but it's important for the target to be able to rub a thumb or finger across it in a repetitive, rhythmic, motion. If they do this while studying the movement, much like the smell of the herbs, will become associated with the memory of studying and the knowledge gained from it. When it comes time to take a test or give a presentation rubbing the worry stone and smelling the herbs will make it easier to recall memories of studying and the knowledge gained through that. So whatever herbs you choose for this make sure they have a strong, long lasting scent.
