A little update on our vanity. Today we worked on reinforcing the top, but weve made a lot of progress since our last update

We've decided to add some storage to the bottom. The right will become a little bin for paper waste and similar such (Papierkorb), the left will have a little section with shelf's and the middle will be the testament to our hubris: drawers :D

We also added a shoe box to the top which will provide us with the height needed to add the mirror later on

Here's a picture from the back, and as you can see the first layer of paper maché is essentially done. The good thing is that the entire construction is now stable enough to stand entirely unsupported. The bad thing is that the Styrofoam board at the top has bend in the middle due to user error (we fucked up and decided to put something heavy on it before it was ready :/) and is now so unstable that our initial plan of rotating the entire rectangle around while working on it is now no longer feasible. This means that we can't work on the underside of the top shelf

...which is still completely bare. I am no expert but I can only assume that that isn't great for the overall stability of the thing.
