Happy 10th anniversary, my dear Scheta and Iskahn.

The first moment they met was written and published in SAO light novel 16, Alicization exploding, 8th August 2015.

This artwork is them in a field with their daughter, Leasetta, enjoying each other's company. Flowers, fields and laughter is what I want to showcase.

I completed this artwork on the 8th, subsequently taking time to compile my thoughts about loving this couple for six, seven years. Who would've thought I would've needed two more days to write everything down?

But I ended up with too much words and too much emotions, I'll keep it short and sweet.

I miss them terribly. They were the first fictional couple to ever have such a strong, lasting impression on me. They are just such wonderful characters and I adore them and their relationship with each other. I never thought that so many years later I'd still be loving them as much as I do, if not even more than I did in the past.

It is not an exaggeration to say that they helped me through rough patches of my life, inspired me in many ways, and changed me as a person. I will draw them until my hands no longer be able to. They will forever be an intangible part of my heart and a connection to my life.

Also legally I should be able to shoot Reki with a BB gun for not giving me more isscheta content 💔

I changed up her design a little from a year ago, also I am still endlessly confused about her and Iskahn's hair, because Iskahn's hair is described to be a "copper red" AND HES FUCKING BLONDE and iirc Lisetta is described to have red hair too ?/?3???2?

I initially thought of Lisetta as more introverted and quiet, but after reading the excerpt on them from LN 28 she seems to me much more outgoing and bold. So I drew her that way 😆
