My birthday is next week, but I’ve basically been celebrating all month. #treatyoself 😆 Here are some new things I’ve ordered recently, but haven’t opened yet. I’m trying to use up current stuff, before opening new products. (Aah, the temptation! 😬) I DID open and use the Aesop hand cream, since I’ve been going through hand creams quickly these days! ___________________ Who has tried @lixirskin? I think that I bought most of their line, but the Vitamin C Paste is especially intriguing...it’s a Vitamin C-based morning rinse off mask. 🤔 I’m guessing it also replaces a morning cleanser? Thanks to everyone who left me comments and advice regarding the Lixir line yesterday! I really appreciated all the helpful tips and am excited to try soon. 😬 _______________ So, I’ve decided to finish up my current BR serums by incorporating them into larger non-BR routines. I’ve been doing that the past few days and it’s been going well. _________________ What I really want to do is get a BR facial, so I’m adding that to my already packed to-do list. 😆 While it’s great that most BR salons offer online consults, I want to get a proper BR skin analysis done by a specialist in person. I have some very specific (maybe weird/silly lol) skin concerns and many, many questions, so I need that literal face time 😆 ________________ Here’s my #skincareroutine from last night, Wednesday 5/24/18 1️⃣Bioderma Sensibio 2️⃣Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser 3️⃣Amorepacific Vintage Single Extract Essence* 4️⃣Complexe Iribiole 5️⃣Serum Placenta 6️⃣Skinceuticals Discoloration Defense 7️⃣Whalmyung Inner Glow Moisturizing Serum*- this feels so nice and light. It’s non-sticky, hasn’t broken me out or caused greasiness. I think this would be great for all skin types, but those with dry skin would probably need something extra on top of this. This would also be a great starter serum for people who don’t have too many anti-aging concerns yet and want to start with a mild and hydrating product 8️⃣iS Clinical Youth Eye Complex 9️⃣Ole Henriksen C Rush Brightening Gel Creme*- Some of the Sephora reviews on this are insanely positive to the point of ridiculous. 😬IMO, it’s fine. It promises hydration for up to 24 hrs. I get about 8-10 hours before I start looking a little dehydrated. I’m not much of a cream person, but this has come in handy this winter. It may be too rich for me once the temps rise, though. What’s the max number of serums that you use in your routine? ___________________ I used to layer 3 or 4, but lately I’ve been doing 2, because I wonder how well it’s all absorbing if I use any more than that? Some serums can be pretty thick! ___________________ I’m trying to use up some serums, so *may* start layering up to 4 again. I’ll also watch closely to see if it makes any difference. ____________________ I guess the type of serum also factors, too. Most of mine are hydrating and/or brightening. FWIW, as an oily and acne prone person, I much prefer layering a couple watery serums rather than using a single creamy moisturizer that’ll leave me feeling greasy within an hour of application 😫 ____________________ Anyway, just some deep skincare thoughts here 😆 Let me know how you do serums!
