"Ron knows what he's fighting for, even if no one else does."
T | 52k | Complete
Ever wondered what happened to the pureblood supremacy movement after Voldemort's (second) fall? Ever wondered how badly faith in the Ministry was shaken – and who might have decided to take advantage of that?
Look no farther, because sceneii has created a believable and utterly brilliant answer.
Excellently written Ron; thoroughly believably premise; honestly, it's one of the best post-war fics I have ever read. Even better, there's but one detail* in this fic that contradicts canon – which I define as not including interviews – and thus, only one tiny detail to say that this couldn't have happened. Please, read this; you won't regret a word of it.
Note: Chapter 4 has some issues with formatting that led to a loss of apostrophes, dashes, and some spaces – as a result, that particular chapter is a little difficult to read. It's well worth it, nonetheless.
*The single noncanonical detail is that, as this was written pre-DH, Cornelius Fudge is presumed Minister.
