Date Night || Derek & Stiles
Though he had been slipping out occasionally to pay visits, Derek was glad that Erica and Lucy had evidently made up so that he didn't have to police Erica at all times of the day, so he could actually go and spend some time with Stiles. Not like Derek had minded being with Erica for all that time -- she made for pleasant company due to their mutual love for dry humor. But having the girls back together was better for everyone (not to mention that Erica was about ready to kick Derek out herself).
Especially now that Stiles was dealing with this whole new Scott drama. Seeing Stiles cry was one of the worst things Derek has ever experienced (and considering his life, that's saying something -- the wave of emotion had been overwhelming), and Derek really only wanted to have a nice night of normalcy for the two of them.
As he tapped on the window before sliding into the room, Derek wondered if there would ever come a day where he could use the front door. (The werewolf ex-fugitive using the front door to see his underage boyfriend, son of the town's sheriff. Right.)
"Hey," Derek said as he took off his jacket and put it on the nearby chair. "How're you feeling?"
