munday questions: how do roleplay edition.
☻: WHICH GENRES DO YOU FIND THE EASIEST TO PLAY? ( @sailbound also asked this question. )
I’m a sucker for pretty much everything EXCEPT smut. I have the mentality of a five year-old, so while I have absolutely no problem seeing nsfw content on my dash ( tagged or untagged, idgaf ), I don’t feel very comfortable writing it. ( Save with like… two people I’m really close with OOC, so I never feel uncomfortable around them at all. ) I think I’m most comfortable with FANTASY / ADVENTURE threads, where two muses, regardless of their relationships, are thrown into a really shitty or complex situation that they must deal with. If there are supernatural elements to it, then all the better! I grew up with The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Tolkien, so I feel like it’s my scene, you know?
♀ : WHAT IS AN AU THAT YOU REALLY WANT TO PLAY WITH YOUR MUSE?
As far as ASOIAF AUs go, from the moment I read A Dance with Dragons where Alys and Jon talked about how Rickard Karstark wanted to arrange a match between Alys and Robb Stark when they were kids, I’ve been really interested in that AU. Like, ‘What if Robb was already married to Alys when they marched to war’ sort of thing. I already have that AU verse though, and several people I’m roleplaying it with ( mainly @motherofwolvcs, @wolfsouled and @propheticwolf ), so it’s not exactly on my WISHLIST, as it’s already happening.
If crossover AUs are included in this question, then I will confess that I’ve been DYING for a Penny Dreadful AU. As I mentioned in the previous answer, I absolutely love mystery, adventure and supernatural all thrown in together and Penny Dreadful has all of that on top of an incredible Victorian London setting. If anyone is reading this answer and is also interested in something similar, PLEASE message me so we can create a verse together.
♣ : CAN YOU PLAY MORE THAN ONE MUSE AT THE SAME TIME, OR DO YOU DIVIDE YOUR RP-TIME BETWEEN YOUR MUSES?
Okay. When it comes to managing multiple accounts, I’m the absolute WORST. I only have one other roleplay account ( @littlebrcther ), and I am not dividing my time equally between my accounts AT ALL. This is my main account and I’m here like 90% of the time. Forget about playing two muses at the same time, I often don’t even write them on the same night. I reckon it must be frustrating for my writing partners on Sam, and I’m really trying my best, but when you don’t have the muse, you don’t have the muse. C’est la vie.
