A ex Lolth Sworn Drow with a really rough past. Was forced and used as an Assassin, for protection and 'entertainment' . He has lived and wondered the surface world for the past 8 years, picking up the Bard class to help him fit in. Ended up as becoming a bit of a vigilante. (Not because it's the 'right thing to do' but because he's good at it and he's proud of his skills) Taking care of any unfortunate soul that were rotten if they crossed his path. Though, he's trying to find himself. He's loyal to a fault to those he gets close to. And quick to flirting if anyone shows interest towards him. And he loves cheese. And hates mornings.

Both Hyacinth and Eserine come to mind though they’re both fellow drow (well Es is half drow) and I’m not 100% sure how Zyn would feel about that

Eserine I’m more hesitant on but she shares some commonalities with Zyn. At age 13 she was taken to the under dark by her Lolth sworn mother and forced to become an assassin. Shes been in Baldur’s Gate for a few years now and loves the surface, still working as an assassin but leaning toward a vigilante type. They might take awhile to warm up to each other but I think Es would be curious about Zyn even if he didn’t like her in return. It’s hard for her to find people she gets along with, specifically other drow, and I think she’d be like someone who observes Zyn from a corner before she eventually deems him trustworthy and then he probably wouldn’t be able to get rid of her. She’d probably never flirt but if they did get used to each other she does try to banter a lot

Hyacinth also has a similar ish past. Was never an assassin but a political pawn for his mother, was told to entertain any drow women who could give them an up in society, and recently ran away from an arranged marriage. He’s also a paladin of Eilistraee, very recently made his oath. He’s very new to the surface unlike Zyn, so that could maybe factor into their dynamic. Again it’s with the curiosity. Hyacinth doesn’t have a lot of genuine friends but he’s trying to make them and gets very curious about other people. Also wouldn’t flirt, but would stare silently a lot and tbh it’s prime teasing material cause he does it to anyone he finds attractive (even from a solely aesthetic point of view).

Foxglove is one of the plants said to protect a baby from being taken and replaced with a changeling. On a similar note, this card has to do with knowing one's self. The person Zyn is now or the person he is becoming may not be someone he recognizes anymore or that his path in life has become something uncertain and unfamiliar from the expectations of the past. The card says two things in response. There is a chance to grab onto that person of the past, to indulge in a previous interest and to become familiar with that version of yourself again. The other says that there is no wrong in embracing the new person you are becoming, change and growth are natural even with one's own identity and sense of self.

I really really appreciate that and I actually have dyscalculia too! I never mention it because people don't know it's the thing and everyone says that they are bad at math and remembering names so I don't bother.
