The King and Queen of Arendelle decided to bring their youngest daughter with them on their trip. At first, the little princess thought Elsa would be joining them, but she simply ha d’too much to study,’ according to her mother, and would have to stay home in the care of the tutors and governess while they were gone.
Anna didn’t mind much. It meant she got to travel without their governess, and maybe, whens he got back, Elsa would want to play again. These thoughts stoped her from making a fuss and off they went.
When they arrived, Anna was given seemingly simple instructions to be on her best behavior and to stay in her temporary room while her parents took care of some things upon their arrival. Anna, however, didn’t see why she couldn’t be on her best behavior and explore. So, as soon as her parents and their escort were out of ear shot, out she went to explore the new, unfamiliar palace.
She’d only been walking for a few minutes when she could hear voices and, not wanting to get in trouble, she ducked into the first room she could find. It took her a moment to realize she wasn’t alone.
