This is the last pin I'll make for a while, and I think it's my favorite so far, as it reminds me of the rolling waves of the Atlantic ocean. I create them intuitively, turning and forging the copper as I go, so each one is unique from the others. I've embellished this one with a Picasso jasper, five African turquoise and a carnelian. Working on some new scarf/shawl/hair pins. From this stage, I will do a little refining, oxidize them--that's the dark patina you'll see in the crevices--to bring it the details and deliver that deep, rich, copper hue.
