From Devon to LA: Scareycrows vlog charts the journey

Comedy horror flick Scareycrows is getting its premiere in LA on September 22, and to chart the journey from sleepy seaside town (albeit populated by scary Scareycrows) to the city of Angles, director Lucy Townsend and producer Diana Townsend are creating a series of vlogs.

Advice for filmmakers –find great people to work with! Scareycrows director Lucy Townsend speak to John Tomkins

In late 2013 I was invited to the set of Scareycrows which was a feature film being made in Dawlish. What struck me when arriving on set was how good the film was looking (with a great fight scene being filmed) and that it was happening here in Devon.

Help Scareycrows come to life! Devon comedy horror turns to kickstarter

Comedy horror flick Scareycrows has been left in limbo after a last-night shoot disaster. Now, to get the final scene in the bag and to send the film to post-production the filmmakers need to get the team back together and have set up a KickStarter campaign to do just that.
