My latest scroll has finally made it to its recipient so I can share it! The illumination was based on a mid 15th century book of hours (Walters MS W.168, fol 217v).
I realised after I’d sent it that I’d forgotten to give the dragon teeth! But I’m sure it’s a fearsome beast nonetheless

I have not, in fact, fallen off the face of the earth. I have been extremely busy in my other hobby, as happens when you take on a position of responsibility. I had the joy and honor to be Royal Scribe for the recently stepped down sovereigns of An Tir (Society for Creative Anachronism or SCA) which means almost all my time and art energy went into that, covering what wasn't done and organizing chaos that is fellow artists for over 6 months. I say this as a chaos creature myself. I am working on getting back to my fan art and stuff for me but for now have a selection of originals I did that went out in the past couple of months.
I guess I should stop lurking here and actually post something some day sooo here’s a thing I made! Based on the Pabenham-Clifford Hours (early 14th c. English)
