Iâm back, my fishy friend! đ
First of all, I loved the way you wrote my previous Johnny request. I could kick his ass any day and enjoy it every time⌠đ
However, I cannot deal with the fact you left it RIGHT as they are about to wrestle again⌠in minimal clothing too⌠you knew what you were doing, little bastard
I shall ask for a NSFW continuation because I just know, it would start as sparring and the subtle brushing, topping, pinning and physical closeness would make it evolve into sexual grinding and humping, escalating to actual sex (or at least to me it would, shameless, yes)
The Ghiaccio tax is getting paid soon, donât worry! Iâll pay more just for you to make it extra long and juicy~ đđ
Hell yeah, sorry for blueballing with part one. (That's a lie, I'm not sorry, I though it was funny)
In any case, this was fun to write! Bonus mini game: guess which paragraphs I wrote while drunk!
Warnings: SMUT!!!!! Shameless, shameless smut.

SBR Roommate!AU x fem!reader ft. Diego Brando (and a little Johnny, HP and Gyro) Hi friends! I've got a major writer's block so after many attempts at touching grass, I thought, what could actually get me through this? Writing about it, maybe. And Diego my beloved also. So consciously, this might suck ass and I'm really sorry. Might not make sense but I'm trying to fight against my own self so, yeah. apologies in advance and ily all! hopefully I'll be able to write something decent soon 𫩠and thank you all for supporting me during this time with your kindness and advice you're genuinely amazing â¤ď¸ oneshot, crack, fluff, dumbassery- 1996 words Who can you go to for some good ol' advice? dividers by @aquazero title inspired by No Rain- Blind Melon follow the series for more!
Everything is a copy of a copy of a copy.
What a catchy phrase for an even catchier movie. You were coerced by Diego and Johnny into finally watching Fight Club.
Apparently, Tyler Durden's duality was the only topic they could peacefully discuss without going at each other's throats. If you ignored Diegoâs comments over Johnny being Angel Face because he was a pushover, and Johnny eating the last M&Mâs in retaliation.
This was fun.
You could totally relate to the narrator. Life was so dull sometimes, especially lately. Itâs not like you could complain; you had great friends, a roof over your head, a job⌠Weather was nicer. So what the hell was your problem?
Total lack of action. A lingering feeling of emptiness. A piece of you that went completely grey, and you did not know how to give it some colour back.
When that rotten feeling arose, you first went to HP for advice. She told you, it was probably lack of getting laid. And unceremoniously left you to get to work, blasting music in her headphones so loud, you thought she was bound to get hearing damage.
Fair. She was the best when it came to practical advice for a real, actual problem; not great at dealing with supposed lack of metaphysical satisfaction.
Beaten, and even more drained than before, you called Gyro for help.
âWhatâs up, bambola?â His smooth accent, and sly nickname, forced a tiny smile on you. A shining light in the dark tunnel of your mind.
âI donât know. I feel⌠I donât know. Weird.â You huffed, and kept mindlessly scrolling through Reddit, looking for an answer that did not invalidate your feelings or gave you the option to paraglide to restore your excitement about living.
Gyro hummed on the other side of the line. You could hear the faint rustling of paper. Maybe you were bothering him, he was probably reviewing some textbook.
âWeird how? Thereâs so many kinds of weird.â He responded, clicking his pen a couple of times.
You smiled to yourself. He always managed to get you out of your head, with just a few, deliberate words.
âRight. Which one are you, then?â You teased him, because even if this conversation was not going to get rid of the huge boulder on your soul, at least it was entertaining.
He snorted. âI maxed out on all types. So much so, I might even be considered a regular fella in this day and age.'
You chuckled. Perhaps one of his truest statements to this day.
âLike how two negatives make a positive?â
Gyro took a breath in at your response. âSi, esatto! You hear that guys? Somebody actually stayed in school.â
You scrunched your eyebrows, and heard some commotion coming from the call. Who was he talking to? It couldnât beâŚ
âGyro, are you in class right now?â
He mumbled a small âget back to readingâ, and resumed his conversation with you.
âItâs 11am on a Thursday. Of course I am.â
You opened your mouth in disbelief. âWhy the hell did you pick up??â
He lightly cleared his throat, and moved his phone away from his face, still keeping a cool stance in front of the class.
âRelax, theyâre on detention. Now theyâve got to read The Art of War and learn what it means to be a good, sensible leader.'
You heard some groans and complaints from his side.
âBesides, I know youâd only call me in case of emergency.â
You could hear and picture his cheeky smirk. Oh damn him.
âYeah. Iâll hang up before we face a real emergency, such as your unemployment.â You ended the call before he could go on and on over the importance of letting his students know that he was allowed to take calls because had a life outside of the classroom, since they didnât seem to believe it.
Okay, at this point, slightly less heavy, you opted for the next best person. Johnny. Who, the polar opposite of Gyro, rarely answered texts during work hours.
âHey, what time are you gonna be home?â
A simple message. However, Johnny would be able to read in between the lines.
Or not.
âCanât talk now. Busy.â
Immediate response. Certainly one of the pre-made corporate ones he loved to click on when he didn't want to engage.
And then, one second later.
âIn two hours. Everything ok?â
Oh, Johnny. You just texted back a simple âsure, all good :)â to not let him worry too much. He still made sure to acknowledge you. You felt terrible because, this was all about you, really. Your friends shouldnât carry the burden of your self-made issues, or disrupt their routines because you were in a less-than-ideal mental space.
It was actually selfish of you, to think that way. So selfish that⌠A lightbulb went off in your head.
The best person you could ask for advice over self-perception, and possibly anything self-esteem related, was Diego.
And lo and behold, he was home as well.
You walked down to the living room, to find him manspreading and watching TV with a total void in his eyes. He was gripping on the remote with the unshakable belief that if he let go by an inch, the device was going to run away from him. Alright.
He spared you a glance.
âThis dinosaur documentary is full of CGI.â He spoke, unimpressed.
You took a sit on the armchair placed on the side of the couch. Gyroâs spot, to be clear.
âThatâs because they couldnât take real footage as, you know, theyâve been dead for a while.â
He gave you a sideways look, assessing your attempt at comedy.
Then, he hit back.
âI wish that was even âremotelyâ funny.â He shook the device in his hand, highlighting his own lame punch line, and smirking in the process.
What a dweeb.
You puffed out a laugh, and he leaned more comfortably in his seat.
âWhat Iâm saying is, if one can tell itâs fictional, that erases the whole point of an educational documentary. Jurassic Park was more realistic.â He concluded, waving one hand like a paleontologist explaining the importance of the discovery of a minuscule fragment of fossil.
In these moments, he was even... Kind of endearing. So passionate about his monstrous friends.
âBut itâs entertaining, donât you think?â
He shrugged, and gave you a contemptuous look. âNot every idea is worth creating. Some things are better kept simple.â
And that sentence was exactly why Diego was the best for this type of turmoil you were experiencing.
It was true; not everything has a meaning. Not all things that went through your head needed to take shape. You would be okay even if you were confused right now.Â
You pondered on that for a moment, and decided to get this over with.
âTrue⌠But what if, say, you have something on your mind and, you donât really know what to do with it?â You asked him, eyes bright, looking for more blunt answers that could put your heart at ease.
He, obviously, completely misunderstood.
Because why was he looking at you with that knowing glint in his eyes?
âYou like someone.â He declared, resting one arm on a cushion, to give the impression he cracked the Da Vinci code.
What?
You crossed your hands, and leaned your head closer. âExcuse me? How did you get that from what I just said?â
He pursed his lips. âDonât be shy. If itâs me, you can tell me. Actually, you should.â
Everything you thought aboutâŚWhatever, really, disappeared into total blankness.
âI⌠What?â Your confusion only fuelled his apparent eureka moment further.
He glanced at the TV screen, still adamantly convinced you sought him out to profess your undying love.
âThere shouldnât be things left unsaid. I can't blame you for feeling this way. Itâs normal.â
Now, you wanted to smack him.
âEverythingâs far from normal right now, Diego. I wasnât confessing.â
You saw his stir subtly, and scratch his chin. A sign he might have realised he misread the room. But, Diego wasnât going to admit that.
âThatâs fine. Take your time.â
You scoffed. He made up his mind for the both of you.
âOkay, you know what? I came here for some friendly advice, and all I get is being part of some of your fantasies.â You stood up to retreat back to your room, a little upset he had to make your emotional struggle about him.
He watched you walk away, and before you were out of his range, he addressed you.
âWant my advice?â
You took a breath through your nose, and turned around at agonizingly slow speed.
âYes, please. Go ahead.â You threw your hands in the air expectantly.
âDonât do anything.â
You took a second to register his words, and his dead-serious expression, that stayed on you for less than two seconds. He went back to give the TV his undivided attention.
Since neither of you spoke any further, you chimed in back again.
âThatâs it?â You pointed on the last word with shrill unenthusiasm.
He tapped his foot against the coffee table. âYeah.â
You walked back up to him, standing almost in front of that damn documentary.
âWhat kind of advice is that?â
He looked up at you, more determined than he was when he was trying to pry a fake confession out of you.
âThe only one worth hearing.â
You rested your hands on your hips, and he blinked twice at you. As if to tell you, you were dismissed.
You turned off the TV.
Later on, after deciding to reconnect with yourself instead of drowning Diego in the bathtub, Johnny came back home, and after trying to figure out why you texted him earlier, he proposed youâd watch a movie. He thought, you needed to relax a little.
Diego, who seemed to always spoil every moment of peace you and Johnny had, suggested Fight Club.
You noticed how the two gave each other a reminiscent look.Â
The movie was fine, besides the constant interruptions from both of them trying to explain the plot to you has if you didnât have these magical things called eyes, and their bickering because apparently neither of them grasped the essence of the movie in the eyes of the other.
But after that lousy day, another introspective bomb was not exactly what you needed. You felt just like the narrator in the movie; nameless, watching other people live from inside your own shell.
Up until the very end.
Because it seems, Tyler Durden and the narrator are the same person. So thereâs some winning, in this life. The cool part of you was just waiting to come out, after a fire to broke out in your apartment, which was going to happen sooner than later if Diego was in charge of popcorn.
Watching the ending credits, with a lingering smell of burnt paper in the house, you reflected on all the different ways your friends tried to pull you out of the blue. And realised, they had no clue either. And potentially, that was the whole point. Who the hell knows? Not even the narrator did, until the very end.
Johnny ruffled your hair, and asked you if you enjoyed the movie. You nodded, and told both of them you were going to take a nap.
As you settled in your blanket, opening some mindless ASMR video, you heard a couple of knocks followed by a triumphant entrance.
Diego.
Instead of claiming your space as usual, he stood by the door.
âHow can you sulk after Fight Club?â
You peeked your head out, and squinted.
âIâm not sulking. Iâm just resting.â
He moved his head in dissent. âYouâre so sensitive. Life is not black and white.â
You groaned, thinking why would he come here to bother you when you clearly were not having it?
âLife is not punching people in the face for fun.â You held your blanket closer to your form.
Diego crossed his arms, and looked down at the ground. You almost felt like he was trying to look for words of encouragement.
âDo whatever you want then.â But despite his dismissive tone, he didnât leave. And then it clicked.Â
âDiego, were you trying to use a movie to give me advice?â You spoke up, amused by having him all figured out.
He turned on his heel, reaching for the door to take his leave.
âIt used to work with Johnny when he got in this depressing mood of yours.â
After he left, you gasped in surprise.Â
Diego was so Angel Face. Always working in the shadows.
