Art for a flashback in Chapter 4 (coming soon)
Flashback HERE :
âGUYS, GUESS WHAT I JUST LEARNED ABOUT!â Leo came rushing in, having a little piece of paper in his hand as he ran to the others.
âWhaâ is that, Leo?â Raph asked, staring at the piece of paper as Leo came to a halt.
âThis dear bro is a pam-ph-atâŚya, a pamphat!! It help older kids, like teenger apply for a place calledâŚco-legâŚya, coleg.â Leo said with a big smile on his face.
âFirst of all, it's a âpamphletâ not whatever you just said and its âcollegeâ...like you didnât say. But, thatâs beside the point, where did you even get that?â Donnie correcting Leoâs language was something he would do a lot when they were all younger, it was just something he liked to do.
âYa, whaever you say, Dee. Anywhizzle, me and papa were on the surface, that's how I found theâŚum.â He paused, trying to remember how Donnie said it.
âPamphlet, Leo. Itâs not that hard.â Donnie pointed out, making it seem pretty obvious.
âYa, tha word. Now, papa said if we were good, he couâ possibly get us into thisâŚcollege? Is that how you say itâŚya, thaâ right? Ya, buâ...papa also said we need to be older, so we still have time to be good turtles.â
âYou really think we couâ go to college, Leo? It seems to be morâ for human teens.â Raph pointed out, looking at the pamphlet with a picture of happy humans on the front.
âOf courâ we could, Raphie! How has dis whole situatian stopped us before? Just like how Dee could be in college becaâ he is big-brained. Mikey is still too young, really too young. You Raphie, you could go too before any of us, sine you oldest.â Leo pointed at each of his brothers with a big grin.
âYou really thinkâŚwe could go to college?â Donnie had some doubt in his voice but it also had some hope in it.
âOf course, Dee. We could all make it, togeder.â Leo wrapped a hand around Donnieâs neck and leaned a little on him.
The four of them the rest of the day talked about their future, together in college, even if they didnât truly make it.
