Now for the other ships. I don't nearly have as much to offer on these. I just like them because they're fun and silly. To start, let's go with SayaRyou. I've already mentioned how When You're In Love, I feel, is a good fit for them from a serious angle. However, I think I have a song that captures what I feel is their dynamic as a couple as they get older.
It's simple. It's cute. And I think it handles how the two might be as they get older, having played a lot of scenarios of varying degrees of appropriateness. I think this song could really capture their favorite scenario to play together as they get older. I think the playful, almost teasing nature of the song really fits the two.
Now for Hirei! To quickly sum up my feelings on the ship. I think it's very much a case of the two being the oldest, and also having moments where the two don't agree before apologizing. "Now get along!" Shunsuke is definitely being a wingman there /j. Now, for my headcanons, I think Rei's family is very rich, judging by her anecdote involving her grandmother and her phone. However, she isn't spoiled. Not really. She's impatient and has a temper, but she has a good heart and a good head on her shoulders. Hiroto, meanwhile, I believe, is of Okinawan descent, judging by his skin color, his love of root beer, and the mention of his family trip. I'll go into more details when I eventually get to him. But I think the two's relationship would have a "fall in love with someone on the opposite ends of the track" story. But without all the drama of the families disapproving of each other, because I don't think they'd care what their parents say. With that in mind... I do wish I could find a song where a guy calls a girl pretty, while the girl doesn't consider herself conventionally attractive. But, oh well. I'll just send the song I think would be at their peak... A moment where Rei asks Hiroto to teach him the Okinawan language, and he proudly does so. Now the song has the girl teaching the guy Spanish, but I think the general intent matches perfectly.
