He’d finish his comment off with a small wave. Zack hadn’t been lying! Right up until he’d noticed a stumble in her step and the monsters that’d been prowling the area shift their focus to her specifically, he hadn’t even assumed there’d been a problem. The apologetic smile Zack had shot her right after that said he really should’ve asked if she’d needed a hand sooner though.
