#Repost @mfa_ukraine with @use.repost . . . Russia is driven by a desperate eagerness to reclaim its imperialist and bloody past. It seeks to breathe new life into a bygone empire at the cost of human lives, destroyed homes, children hiding in bomb shelters almost every night, and the capture of more and more land.

Ukraine, on the other hand, strives to defend itself and reclaim what is rightfully its own. To bring its citizens back home to de-occupied Horlivka or Mariupol. To return its citizens from Russian captivity. To reunite every child with their families in Ukraine. To be able to protect its skies, intercept drones and missiles that Russia deliberately attacks civilian objects with. To be able to strike military targets from which Russia launches its deadly weapons. To protect the Ukrainian people.

We must not allow the empire to destroy the democratic world. Ukraine must be able to strike the empire where it hurts the most.
