Edit: I called Visa and they refused to give me an answer when I politely asked about these specific policies, refused to pass me a supervisor. I got hung up on after several minutes of going in circles. Should have been a simple exchange if this is nothing to worry about.

Queerness and gender/sexual nonconformity are often targeted during crackdowns on lewd or obscene behavior. Your nonsexual queer art is not exempt from right wing censorship simply because it is nonsexual. To the right, deviation from cishet society is inherently sexual.

TheGamer.com actually did a well-researched article on the ongoing problem of payment processors clamping down on anything they consider risky content. That includes anything porn, anything BDSM, anything hypno, and soon, anything GTA.

... and they had to censor the word "anti-pornography" in their own news article because they were afraid the using the word "pornography" would get them demonetized by Google AdSense.

If this is where we're at, we need a new term for porn, the same way that everyone on Youtube is using "unalived" to avoid being demonetized.

Anyone got suggestions?
