If WE don't do it, it wont get done! We already know these new upgrades in our community ain't for US! Gentrification has already trickled down & affected Chucos Justice Center in Inglewood & we are currently being pushed out by Metro via eminent domain having our community center turned into a parking lot before the end of this year. . . We are in process of getting a new building, but we need to raise the money to rebuild the old run down Kenyon Court Detention Center & transforming the utility of the space "From Punishment 2 Empowerment" . . We're organizing a fundraiser event...a Community Arts Stage that would serve as a platform of artistic expression FOR the People of the community, BY the People! We're looking at Sat March 31st or Sat. April 7th. . . From spoken word, poetry, dance, graph art, stenciling, & we will definitely need community support!
