aw tysm anon this is so sweet!! I really like it too, tbh, I’m someone who has. Struggled w a concrete sense of self identity for a while (in terms of like. Defining characteristics. Like those questions on personality quizes where it asks you to choose a word you/your friends would describe you as. I hate those questions I find them so hard to answer bc I feel like it changes so often) and also you know I’ve fallen into the trap of haha funny self deprecation on the internet a lot, and so i wanted to lean into the- like you said- self romanticization to try and combat those things and show myself more love and find things that I love and am proud of in myself!! I saw some of my other friends and mutuals doing a similar thing in like tagging things w #mecore or #selfcore or assigning things to their friends with #[friend name]core and I loved it I felt like it was such a lovely and warm hearted trend and I wanted to contribute to it and reaffirm things I liked about myself and try and further that trend in my friend (which I have!! I see more and more people doing a similar thing for themselves and their friends as I’m doing w savcore and it makes me so 🥰🥰) and idk. This was very long winded.
