Despite being family and living together, Mona had to admit to herself that the relationship she had with Savannah could be better. When the whole thing with Hazel moving out had gone down, their older sister had done a great job at remaining neutral throughout the situation and that alone reflected just how strong and level-headed of an individual she was. Still, Mona wondered if it was an act. Ignoring the tiny voice in her head that had been telling her to not even bother with trying, she made her way across their apartment and knocked twice on Savannah’s door before letting herself in. “Hey, Sav. I, uh, don’t really have any plans today and I was just wondering if you wanted to hang? Catch up and stuff?”

Knocking three times in quick succession, Mona didn’t even wait for an answer before pushing the door to Savannah’s room open. “So, what ever happened with that thing you had going with that one dude? The one who you totally lowkey wanted to bone, but you refused to make that first move and give him a lap dance like I suggested?” She asked, taking a seat on the edge of her sister’s bed. “Out of everyone in this apartment, I’m pretty sure you’re the one getting the least amount of action and I find that sad considering Hazel is heavily pregnant.”
