I honestly fell in love with the contentious, chaotic, cutthroat, rancid vibes these two have in Ray's original future shown in The Ray (1994) #25-26.

The greed, the temptation, the corruption, how Ray changes so drastically once he joins Vandal and then turns on him, it's all so compelling!

Also I just adore Ray having long hair and that white streak in his future design. Like this is such a good look:
