I’ma talk about System of a Down! My dad was really young when I was born, so he was in his early 20s when SOAD was getting really big. He’d play their music in the car ALL the time and I learned all the words (or the lyrics I thought I was hearing lol). And when my dad brought me to his friend’s places and they’d crank the stereo system, his friends were all baffled when I was singing along to every song.

This summer, we saw System live together. It was a really emotional concert because it all felt full circle. From birth to now I’ve loved the band and loved how it’s something my dad and I can share~

After the fact he’d complained about his office, Raum had indeed decided to decorate a little — to his own tastes. Naoto’s painting was conspicuously absent in the room.
