"Please, don't tell anyone what you know. I want to keep living like this a little longer...and I don't want to have to kill you."
Saturated is an AU based off of The Summer Hikaru Died, featuring Kanade as a deceased person, now a vessel of Nonuki-sama. This still takes place in a modern-day Shibuya, Japan, but Nonuki is (a now relatively lesser known yet powerful) a deity with the duty of keeping out evil spirits and misfortune from a localized land, and happened across Kanade's body after an accident left her taking her last few breaths in unfortunate obscurity, unknown to any family or friends.
She does retain friends and association she had in canon (though this is up to the discretion of other RPers). She died at 18.
She looks exactly as Kanade looked before the accident, though with the notable difference of red circles at the centers of her blue eyes. She explains them away saying that it was a side effect of the accident that had her missing for a couple of weeks.
She has the supernatural ability to draw in and coerce spirits into coming over to her instead of other victims (of course, for intents and purposes of other RPers, this is not all-powerful and could be overridden or fought with if you're strong willed enough). She also has the ability to draw spirits into herself and consume them, at the cost of some physical damage to the body (again, see above, this is up to discretion and will not likely be used on a muse that is a spirit ofc)
She is a god of largely unknown and ancient origins, and there are some aspects of herself that if viewed in full, open ways, can cause a feeling of discomfort or even madness. Look at her insides with extreme caution.
Her biology is completely different now. While she can still mostly function as a human (she can eat, sleep, etc), her actual biology within her body when perceived in any way seems to be abstract and hard to understand. She doesn't even bleed--rather when injured she oozes the essence that her body is filled with, the essence of what Nonuki actually is in form. When any of this essence is outside of her body, it usually still is malleable and under her control, and is something she can direct as she needs, unless it's happening because of an emotional circumstance or she's lost control of herself (also something that can happen), in which case it largely does whatever it wants and becomes difficult to reel back in.
She cannot be killed by conventional means. Even if you dismember or behead her, she can regenerate and pull herself back together, or at least be forced back together, and will heal (though more extreme injuries do take time unconscious to recover from).
Compared to the original Kanade, she's much more open about her feelings and curiosities, and more eager to explore what's around her and what she remembers Kanade liked. She's overall much more playful and open, though she still struggles with what she wants and what she is and is capable of.
She retains Nonuki's desire and ability to grant wishes of those around her, though thanks to the fusion of Kanade herself, she has picked up the ability to pick and choose what she wants to do, and can even choose to override one wish for another should she so wish. Initially reviving Kanade's body as her own, she operates on Kanade's dying wishes to "make sure everyone [Mafuyu, but this is malleable ooc] would live happily and wouldn't miss her."
