Sports day at school. Compared to our pep rallies, that lasted half of one day, the students have sports day for 3 days. They danced for the opening ceremony, and wore some amazing costumes. Not to mention all the impressive decorations they made.

Some more students with their pets. Probably one of our favorite things about this school is the constant presence of pets :)

Thailand has a lot of holidays, which makes school way fun!

The oldest students at our school have a class specifically dealing with pets. Often times they will bring their furry friends to school, which is adorable. They bring anything from squirrels to porcupines to dogs. Here you can see a student sharing a brownie with his cat. Now that's dedicated parenting right there :)

This is my gifted class. They are extremely smart and a lot of fun! Definitely one of my favorite classes to teach. Check out my super conservative work clothes. I can't wait until I can wear tank tops again :P

Teacher appreciation day at our school. The students played instruments, sang songs, and performed Thai dances. Then, they walked to the teachers on their knees, and presented us with flowers strung into a bracelet shape. Overall, this was a really fun and interesting event! What wasn't fun was being in a gym with the entire student and staff population of the school, with no a/c and hardly any fans. We felt like there was an intense build-up of carbon dioxide and spent the beginning of the ceremony dripping in sweat and dizzy. Even so, we stayed in the gym and ended up just fine :)
