Plateaux is an original idea for an immersive audio-visual performance by Vincent Brault and Vincent Martin performed at the SAT in Montreal, Canada. Based on  “Milles Plateaux” by Gilles Deleuze, a post-modern philosopher, the performance imagines certain key concepts of the text and renders them in inter-actable, audio-reactive 3d scenes. I was brought in last Novemeber as a full collaborator and contributed a hefty chunk of the creative input through my software programming in TouchDesigner. It was one of my most interesting challenges to date and I am deeply grateful to Vincent Brault for his trust in my skills and abilities and for having given me this opportunity.  

The SAT’s iX Immersion Symposium is happening this week in Montreal! :D Will be attending most of the events. Interesting subjects will be treated, such as the expansion of aural and visual experiences and immersion into new spaces. Can’t wait!
