i really wanna yap about this moment because im probably so in love with it for all the right and wrong reasons.
one thing i find really interesting about this scene (that i probably am thinking into a little too much) is the fact that she critics two things, shin's use of a weapon, and the fact that 'his kind dies young' and why am i so obsessed with this? well for the weapon its because it shows thats hes not even being subtle at this point when it comes to his devotion and goals. he wants to help people and he doesnt really care about the consequences to his body (this is just reiterated by natsuki having to stop him from overusing his arm in a later battle with club jam). shes like the first person to call this out.
also!! when she says 'your kind die young' was anyone thinking about rion? especially rereading this. idk why i thought of that and i cant really explain it, its more cause rion wanted to make the world a better place for akira (if im remembering correct) and shin wants to make the world a better place for the sakamoto's. they're both self sacrificial and the fact that satoda points it out first is making me obsessed. especially because shes one of my favs (despite her very very very short appearance).
