I cannot explain my appreciation for Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Objectively, I don't think they're as good as they feel, but I do (again, objectively) appreciate how unique they are.
But by the maker are they satisfying.
When they come on the radio or my playlist, right now it's "Can't Stop", I literally feel lighter. The feeling starts in my chest, spreads to my diaphragm and then out to my limbs by the time the song is over. Like I'm floating in the air, almost. Not physically... But... Idk, spiritually?
"Alright, so you like a song... We get it"
I don't get it. You know what other artists regularly make me feel so completely like I'm floating? Metallica (Bleeding Me), Korn (Thoughtless), Manson (Dissasociative), anything sung by Maynard James Keenan (it's just that damn voice), Gojira (Flying Whales). Don't mistake me, I like A LOT of music in different genres, but this is the stuff that makes me float.
Red Hot Chili Peppers is (are?) so out of place, my brain says βοΈ while still completely vibin.
