At least not about Sasuke.

Yesterday my friend and I touched briefly on the topic of Naruto and pairings.

And she was like: I don't ship SasuN*ru anymore because it's toxic and because of all things Sasuke has done. Poor Naruto!

And I wanted to scream and argue but I didn't because it was a pleasant evening and I haven't wanted it to explode into an argument of epic proportions.

But really? Really?! "Because of what Sasuke has done"? What has he done exactly? He was an initiator of their friendship when he decided to feed Naruto at the beginning of team 7? Jumped between Naruto and Haku's needles? All the things that came later? Decided to cut his ties with Naruto because Itachi come and tortured him again reminding him that there's a reason he can't have nice things? Because Itachi was after Naruto ( and nine tails). Because cutting ties with his best friend eliminated even a possibility of killing him for mangekyo. Because he refused to be like his brother. Because he refused to head that way even if it's a promise of power.

Being against Konoha later on? Do I need to say about what happened to his family and why?

Even than, what exactly that is so unforgivable he has done toward Naruto?

Refused to return to Konoha? ( which put him on the renegate list in the bingo book and sent Sai with team 7 to kill him).

Killed Danzo ( yes a Hokage at the time) for what has been done to Uchiha? Sorry but man deserved that for Uchiha and more. I doubt that if Naruto learned that something like that happened to his family he would have reacted better. Honestly I think he would have gone straight to nine tails mode not caring for who was around at the time. Learning that that man has implanted body parts of his family? I wander what his reaction would have been. He is not most rational guy.

Sasuke threatening Konoha? Well it was just a threat and he hasn't acted on it.

What exactly so bad has he done?

I don't fucking ship sns anymore because of what Naruto done - not other way around!

Protecting the world which led to protecting konoha, while remembering Itachi worked from outside protecting the konoha, sasuke said "perhaps my brother was also a police force" after receiving letter from naruto❤

with konoha, he shows considerably less skin. from one angle, it shows Kishimoto further implanting cultural nuances of wrongness. by showing more skin, Sasuke associates away from purity culture's understanding of goodness. it builds nuance that frowns on his non-alignment with konoha. from another angle, it represents his freedom and self-expression when he's separated from konoha.

from within konoha part 1, each transition adds layers to his outfit. from the picture below, he gets a headband, then a thigh strap and armbaned, and then an arm brace. as sasuke gains strength from within konoha, his burden keeps growing.

and also, orochimaru was a creep who marked his tongue and salivates at the thought of his body, so he probably appreciated the extra skin
