i got the impression that they were going for awkwardness because that hug seemed kind of stiff? and i know jarod has played a gay character before so that's not it. So i think it was to show that things are weird between miller and bryan. but then again i could be reading too much into things. But then again, Gina kissed Bellamy goodbye, Miller should've kissed Bryan.
