[for the character chat] Specifically to Midorima; I played point guard position when I was in high school, I stand 5'7", in a fun scrimmage game against the boys team I blocked the attempted 3point shot of guy who I would was probably around your height, ran right up and slapped the ball right out of his hands. He was absolutely stunned. How would you handle a female player doing that to you?
Midorima: Hm. I believe the first mistake of your opponent was to underestimate you. I would do no such thing– I make it a point to understand my opponents’ statistics before games, even during scrimmages. So I would not let you slap the ball out of my hands in the first place, in fact.
… However, on the off chance that this was completely spontaneous and I was absolutely unprepared during such a game (which would likely never happen, thank you), I would commend the player for their efforts, in fact. It takes a seasoned player to catch me off-guard. You would have earned my complete respect.
But, like I mentioned earlier: That would never happen. Never. Never.
