What drew me to this fic initially was the au and the fact that it’s both edwin and royai. What kept ongoing interest was the well-written and genuinely interesting plot, as well as the cool world building. There’s so much thought put into this, and it shows! Riza and Roy’s relationship is interesting, because it takes a while to develop as Roy has a daughter and a wife who had passed away, as well as Riza having mixed-up feelings revealed in one of the very last chapters. However, I think the author handled it well, and while i’m admittedly biased because I wanted them to develop a romantic relationship I still think that it was not rushed or forced. I looked forward to reading every chapter, and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat; definitely give this fc a try!
