He didn't really know them, really, but he did see them when his master wanted to go torture the Twi'leks. Out of the three of them, Kina left first, then Nid, and then Akerav escaped.

He's a cousin of hers, but he doesn't really know that. His father, before he passed, was the non-Force sensitive brother to Saraasha's dad that decided to go slum it up on Nar Shaddaa (and got it on with a Republic Zabrak there). Granted, Saraasha's parents are both dead now too, and she's being raised by her and Nid's grandparents.
