Salvation Army Project Brief
To rebrand the cafe situated in the Barrow-in-Furness Salvation Army Corps. This will include designing new menus. We have also been given the task of renaming the cafe (which is currently the Haven Cafe) but we really like the name 'Citadel' because this relates to the Salvation Army and to the architecture of the SA building in Barrow. Martin from the SA asked us to somehow create a menu that connects the Salvation Army and Barrow together, which I think will be very challenging. He has also asked us to create signage that would go outside the building, promoting the cafe and shop.
To start with, I am going to research the Salvation Army and the word 'citadel' since it has a few definitions, think of how I can form this relation between Barrow and the SA building and gather source images and menus as inspiration before starting with ideas.
