Leaving the Grove.
Honestly, I thought we all left as soon as we could walk.
It was easy for me. I just picked up and left, went to go find those strange barkless creatures that I saw in my Dream, the ones the menders told me were human. Barely stopped to ask where I would find them. Just... went.
Didn't even ask what humans were like, and maybe I should have. Could have saved myself a lot of grief with Mavren. Still, I can't argue, he had ability and he taught me well. Not nicely, but well all the same.
But there's definitely an argument for staying, or at least staying around your own kind for some time. A lot of things I didn't get to learn that I have to catch up on now, which is awkward. In a lot of respects, I know less than a sapling!
