Here we go again !! :-) #tnw2018 Another year at The Next Web conference in Amsterdam, one of the biggest tech conferences in Europe. This is the 15th year that thousands of guests from all over the world gather at the Westerpark to meet&greet, learn, get exposed to new ideas, and get a deeper understanding of where tech is heading and how it changes the world around us. My 3rd year in row volunteering to be part of the great team executing this couragous extravaganza ;-) Great weather, good food, festival atmosphere, nice and open people... A very fun and down to earth event, while at the same time a professional and serious approach, what more can you ask for? We'll, one thing I miss is how technology is transforming Social Businesses and their positive impact. A great example would be the new collaboration between block chain & decision making and how it might transform democracy and social structures, power, and collective decisions. At @sapientsocialbusiness we (@max_bouillon & myself, with the support of our amazing Padawans from all over Europe) provide talks and workshops on the topic and also develop our own Digital Democracy app @oviewapp We'll see if we can catch @borisvvz to discuss this topic and how interesting it might be to integrate it into next year's agenda.
