Disgraced: Capital Stage premieres this pulitzer prize winning play centered around a dinner party between four people with very different backgrounds. As discussion turns to politics and religion, the mood quickly becomes heated. DISGRACED is a powder keg of identity politics. The play exposes racial and ethnic prejudices that persist just below the surface of the everyday politically correct dinner conversation. 8PM. $28 - 35. 

Sacramento Asian Pacific Film Festival: Oak Park’s historic Guild Theatre hosts this always excellent selection of films that explore Asian Pacific culture through comedy, drama, documentary, 5/27 & 5/28, $20 -50.

Sacramento Rides!: Join Assemblymember Kevin McCarty and Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates at 5th/H Streets in celebration of May is Bike Month for this bicycle lifestyle and safety fair centered around biking, safety, repair, maintenance, and other local bike resources. People are encouraged to bike to the event and take advantage of the on-site bike valet. 10AM - 1PM. Free. 

34th Street Beautification: Join Oak Park Sol in cleaning up this forgotten patch of land that acts as one of the main entry points to the neighborhood. Familypalooza: The Crocker’s annual family festival designed for all ages, this year inspired by Dr. Seuss’ Whoville. The Museum will become an enchanting, colorful land designed to excite with Wolf Thump coming to delight. Enjoy games of skill and games for thrill!
