i just had the flu. It was a bad one, was one of those really painful muscle achey flus that hits like a sledgehammer. I was playing this holiday gig and trying not to let on that I felt about 2 steps from death and there was this very entertaining Santa cat and two very beautiful Elves. On one of the breaks we decide to get the gratuitous Santa Shot, so I am trying to avoid putting all of my weight on the chair or on Santa while trying to hide the pain of bending my legs, cause I'm a typical man who doesn't want to show weakness in front of the elves; meanwhile, every muscle in my body is screaming in pain and protest. what results is my contribution to #awkwardfamilyphotos that's my #painface #santashots #christmaselves (at Viejas Casino & Resort)
