I wasn’t watching so I can’t judge hahaha… but I mean it’s totally fine to think that! It’s just that there’s people who are really angry (which is also fine I guess cus we can’t control how we feel) but they’re being very mean about the situation, saying things like “how DARE she sing the boys’ winner’s single!” and calling X Factor bad names for it. This is going to sound harsh probably but everyone knows I love these boys with all my heart and soul so I’m gonna say it anyway… the boys didn’t win X Factor (but they’re doing amazingly anyway, so it doesn’t even matter.) If they’d won, and actually released this as a single, maybe it woulda been a lil bit unfair for X Factor to give it to Sam Bailey too especially a year later. But it’s not their song, it’s Demi’s, and like… nobody said anything last year about the boys taking the song so it’s just silly, you know what I mean? Like I just wish people wouldn’t get so malicious about it, makes them look bad and makes the fandom as a whole seem nutso.
