Caregiving is hard even when not rewarding. Today was a great day by any measure. I was able to enjoy a birthday soak at a local natural hot springs as well as soak at a hot springs even closer to home. So soaks at two different resorts. Mom felt well enough to be home alone for most of the day. I soaked most of the day, consumed three desserts (a tiramisu, a strawberry thres leches, and coconut bread pudding). I have some cup markers themed after male strippers and journaled throughout the day.
