Quel dommage
Si j’ai découvert le hip-hop assez tardivement, c’est clairement devenu mon genre de prédilection quand je décide de composer un petit quelque chose ; il suffit d’un sample inspirant pour me retrouver pendant une dizaine d’heure sur mon DAW favori.
En 4 ans de composition assistée par ordinateur, j’ai du sortir une cinquantaine de sons ; dans cette cinquantaine, notez en quinzaine de hip-hop environ. Ce sont des instrumentales uniquement, sur des samples variés de musiques que j’aime et sur lesquelles j’ai des coups de foudres spontanés.
Pour le master, je fais tout d’une traite : rien n’est parfait, mais je préfère tout faire tant que je suis chaud et étant un peu feignasse je trouve les meilleures idées à incorporer dans mon œuvre quand je commence à être un peu lassé et saoulé de tout cela. Le mastering en fait partie, et je ne fais qu’une sublimation basique.
