Here's a semi-recent piece I did that took me a LOOONG time in terms of colouring. Colouring isn't usually my forte so I actually quite like how this turned out. All my pieces are usually done in one sitting because I'm very impatient, but this one took about three days of on and off work...
It's of our boy Thel, as indicated by the text. I wasn't trying to be too faithful to the armour design, I was freehanding and just adding details as I wanted, so sorry not sorry for the obvious inaccuracies. I just think it's cool and I like this one :3
Wow, there's lots of posts coming out of me today, huh? So! This is Orsa 'Damor, my favourite Sangheili oc I have. He's quite blue (in colour, but in melancholy mindstate too, I suppose!) These both use the same old sketch, coloured in a different way - and I was proud of both of them at some point, though maybe not so much anymore. I'm not exactly rocking with this particular illustration... maybe it's because I've seen it too many times myself that all i see are the mistakes? eh. whatever! I'm realising I have a lot less post-worthy Sangheili art than I thought I did. that's okay though, I'll just go make more. yippee! Be prepared for more art of this guy. and rambling descriptions of why I love him so much. He's an ex-ultra/evocati rank warrior, with some... interesting quirks, shall we say. He earned the (derogative) nickname of "Scholar" for having some strange qualities not often found in a warrior. But that's elaboration for another post, sometime!

I sat down and used some speed paints today. It took a lot of willpower, but I did these 2. Still in that slump a bit.
Spec-ops and Minor Sangheili, painted with speed paint. The glowing effects are done with normal acrylic paint washes.
Thanks for hanging out with me in the stream tonight, @the-explorers-journal @neuropterida @ciabatta27 ! It was a blast chatting and working. As suggested, I am going to try to YouTube live stream more often because that is the more common streaming platform now. Plus, streama are archived so that viewers can still join in after the fact and see what happened last time.
I'll definitely have to utilize OBS more for that, but that is something I'll learn along the way.
