BIOGRAPHY:
Born in Sandpoint, daughter of Riley Thompson and Matty Farmer. Sandy had a fairly happy childhood, despite the fact that the Thompson family seems to have such a pressure upon them, much like other founding families in town.
She was a happy kid and she loved riding her bike all over town with her friends. She loved to play and explore, often staying out until long after she was supposed to. She always knew she could get her father to talk her mother from getting her in trouble over it. Honestly, it seemed like her father would forgive her anything.
Her father tragically died in a car accident while the family were on their way to visit college for Sandy’s studies. After the accident, Sandy almost didn’t go to college at all, too grief-stricken and not seeing the point thanks to her father’s death. Her mother gently persuaded her however and she went, studying to become a teacher, something she’s always wanted to do. She’s always loved children and wanted to work with them.
She met her girlfriend in a cafe in her junior year. She was taken with the redhead right away but they of course had to go on with their days, though she kicked herself for not trying to get her number or something. Luckily, their phones wound up getting switched and therefore returning them back to each other was necessary - this was when she took the chance and asked her out. They’ve been together since and now have a place together, with their two dogs.
Now works at the local middle school and she loves every second of it. She loves her kids though she’d love to maybe open her own nursery one day, working with the younger kids and also having something of her own.
In her heart she misses her father every day and still feels sick with guilt about the accident, the reason they were all in the car that day was her, after all.
