Saw a #meteor or #comet tonight off the coast of #solanabeach. I've been fortunate to see a space shuttle launch and this completely blew that away. This picture was the best I got and doesn't come close to what it actually looked like. First a fireball streaked across the sky, then a burst of light as it left the atmosphere. The magnetic discharge glowed for almost 10 minutes as bright as a full moon. #sandiego #sandiegofireball #sandiegometeor (at Fletcher Cove Beach Park)
